Growing California Powerlifting
Our goal is to grow the California Powerlifting Community! By hosting powerlifting meets and other events, as well as helping gyms enter the world of USA Powerlifting and Meet Directing we can assure our lifters a strong presence on the National Platform. By connecting our USA Powerlifting Club Coaches, Friendly Gyms and Training Facilities, as well as our Collegiate teams and new lifters we can provide support for all.
Why BratPack?
There's a little bit of a brat in all of us. It doesn't mean we don't take the work seriously. It doesn't mean we are acting out. But it's ok to be silly. It's ok to joke around. It's ok to let yourself out when you need to. Keep them guessing. Don't take yourself so seriously. Because if you're not having fun doing it, why do it?
Who We Are
Coach Nic has had experience in bodybuilding, spartan race and powerlifting. Upon joining USA Powerlifting, I went full steam ahead into learning all I could. When shut down happened I went back to school for my Single Subject Teaching Credential (and second Master's degree) in Physical Education at SJSU and re-founded the Spartan Powerlifting at SJSU Club Team. I then realized I needed to be able to become a Meet Director to provide a meet for the team, as well as get all Collegiate and High School athletes on the platform. My absolute favorite thing to do is help newbies! I love seeing them do something they never thought they'd be able to and giving the best experience possible!

- Connecting the Powerlifting Community to each other
- Helping new lifters get started and finding a path from youth, through High School, Collegiate Teams and beyond.
